I should just turn off comments, but since I am not, what is the best plugin for a
captcha or what works best??? |

Go to wordpress.org and search for spamfreewordpress - we were getting tons of spam bots, now we do not.

Like three of thee provious posters suggested, Akimet is excellent, in some of my WP istes I just make having to register and jump through many hops before you comment work at detering most spammers

this is something i used to do with spam comments I would go through maybe 50 of them delete any links, change the wording of the comments to say something about my site and volla you have content for your site  |
