    Researchers Pause Work on Bird Flu That Could Kill Hundreds of Millions



    It is the stuff of science fiction: scientists tamper with a killer bird flu virus and create something much worse. But what has been created in a Rotterdam laboratory is not fiction. It is deadly real.

    So deadly that the U.S. government ? which funded the Rotterdam research ? asked scientists to omit key details of their research when they are published to keep the formula out of the hands of bio-terrorists. And today, researchers announced a self-imposed 60-day "voluntary pause" on any research involving highly transmissible form of bird flu that they have created.

              The legendary "Bird Flu Pandemic" just never happened. It was predicted year after year, but it just never naturally mutated into a deadly disease. Good thing our government worked out the kinks!

                          Its old news to me too, the unfortunate thing is, for that data to really go BYE-BYE, you'd need to do what the Mossad is likely doing with all the Iranian nuclear scientists and that would be just a little suspicious if the bird flu scientists cars start blowing up with them inside.

                                          We now have 7 billion people on the earth and most of them live in poverty. We can not feed them all, and we are running out of resources.

                                          I read a report that said we have the largest amount of people the planet has ever had, and the lowest amount of food reserves in recorded history. That doesn't have a happy ending.

                                          Population control will have to happen eventually or they will just have to starve to death on a massive scale. Maybe a little of both. I doubt we'll see it in our lifetime, but your children or their children are going to live in dark times.

                                                  Population control/growth is one of the major problems on this planet.

                                                  In a few decades, the only way to support the population is going to be to start eating bugs (in western world). Only 1% of the water on this planet is fresh, drinking water. Much of if populated. You are going to have some major issues with energy, as well as food and water in the next century. There simply are not enough natural resources to sustain current levels, much less another century of growth.
