    Gideon, will you now be suing Viacom and demanding they lose their copyrights?

    For those who may not know Gideon uploaded a video to YouTube that he claims is a commentary/parody of a piece John Stewart did on SOPA on The Daily Show. Gideon's video was immediately removed from YouTube for copyright violation.

    In all fairness I have not seen the video so I have no idea what form this parody and/or commentary took. However, Gideon, if you know in your heart that your commentary/parody was legit than you just had your fair use rights/free speech rights violated by Viacom with a bogus DMCA take down. Now is the time to put your money where your mouth is and sue them. You can help set case law for valid fair use and if you sue requesting that the form of damages they should receive is the loss of their copyrights you can be a leader in the movement you so desperately champion. Now is your time Gideon. Rise up! Lead the masses!

                                                  I am not a moron that why I call for the LAWS to be changed, rather than advocate someone sue to get those (impossible to get under the current unfair laws) penalties imposed.

                                                  The best i can do is protest, and win the dispute to get my content put back up. And if i can prove market loss, that the takedown was done in bad faith my losses ONLY. (on average 46% of my loses after lawyer's fees)
