                  George Lucas is a hack. Lots of cool effects and that's about it.

                  If you want to see a good movie on the subject, check out HBO's movie from 1995. They just rereleased on Bluray.

                  Quite a cast too - Laurence Fishburne, Allen Payne, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Courtney B. Vance, Andre Braugher, Christopher McDonald, John Lithgow and Mekhi Phifer.

                  That voiceover guy totally ruins that trailer too.

                              Wasn't this a made for TV movie already with Lawrence Fishburne? I think it was called The Tuskeege Airmen
