it doesn't matter if you don't have it anymore, cant find it, etc if there is a paper trail that it was withdrawn somewhere you are screwed. only way to get around that is demand to be paid in cash and demand they fix their books so payments do not show up as going to you, which most likely won't happen. otherwise, its all a game of chance..will you or won't you get caught.

I don't understand his need to flaunt everything. He should have kept his head down and enjoyed his riches, and kept his life as private as possible. It may have saved his ass. No one likes an arrogant fuck who thinks he can do anything he wants and is above the law.

It all starts with your citizenship, where you live, and where you do business. Laws that may apply to US citizens may not apply to German (or wherever) citizens, so that may allow them more freedom to be more creative, legally or not, with how they do things. There are lots of things and steps you can take to make it very difficult for all of your assets to be found. Of course they will find some, but they don't have to find them all.

We don't know the full story, what the feds took may only be 20% of his true assets. There is no telling how slick he really is. But with that kind of money, I'd hope he went the extra mile to protect some of it.

Don't forget that houses in NZ are about 10 times as cheap as in some regions of the US. You might be able to get a mortgage for a house like that in NZ, but then ask yourself, would you want to live there, far away from your friends and relatives. They were already living like refugees if you ask me. NZ is a beautiful country, great scenery and great people, but they were all "far away from home".

Get the PR guys onto this and show the voters who the pirasites are, what they do, how much they make and what losing that revenue from US tax payers means and see what it will do to voters thinking. He was just one of the greedy people stealing from other to fuel a lifestyle that rives top movies stars.
