Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed.

Underworld Content Com spam

It's so nice to wake up in the morning and see multiple spams for domains that I don't even list emails for:

funny I just list this with the companies that I will never do business with ever

The owner of Underworld has been in business for a long time and he's truly one of the nicest, hardest working guys that I've met. I'm not sure about this most recent mailing, but I know in the past when we discussed the specifics of his webmaster list that it was acquired through his own webmaster program and content sales website.

If it's truly spam then so be it. I think it's important to note that the E-mail you received has a REAL opt-out on the bottom, all you've got to do is click to be removed.

My point? I've seen a lot worse offenders. This guy's got a reasonably small list and he's marketing to it with a real means for recipients to opt out. If you never participated inquired for information about any of his products, services or participated in his programs then I suppose you've got a beef but you have to cut him a little bit of slack for A) identifying himself and B) having a true means to opt out. It's not like it's some mystery bullshit email.

Cheers,

Brad

I'll have to wait and see, maybe I was just in a bad mood this morning, but I hate seeing multiple emails from the same program at the same time

Perhaps someone should make a little more complex database managment function, for email list software

ie; different domains + same name, = might be the same person?

I got the same crap to just about every domain we own too. A huge amount of the spam we get now is from content providers.

These emails were all script generated

ie;
webmaster@ (my domain) .com
I don't use "webmaster" from this domain, I use my name

2
webmaster@domain2 .com Never used any emails from this domain

3
webmaster@domain3 .com Never used any emails from this domain

4
webmaster@paysite4 .com Never used any emails from this domain

I guess when I design my own email management script, database I'll remember the weaknesses of the normal ones

I got two as well, I didn't see what addresses they came to. But, I've done business with him before.
