May was just your router/internet connection, happens to me also sometimes as the connection just disconnects.

Half the sites I goto, as said, didn't work, yet a few of them were! I checked everything, then but altered nothing, suddenly, everything was working again

Yeah that happened to me once. Didn't have enough money to pay all of the bill so I paid half and they said ok we will give you half the internet but we don't know which half you will get. Turned out it was not the half I wanted unfortunately, so in the end I had to pay all the bill.Comment

It's going to be worse tomorrow since from 8am-8pm Jan 18 (Not sure of the time zone..) SOPA and a lot of the assholes supporting them will have a temporary blackout, causing temp 503 error pages....
