one hundred.

Toronto sucks.

HS-Trixxxia 02-06-2003 10:08 PM

Shows I've been too busy with my *Real* job.

Born & raised and wouldn't trade it for the world...the fact that people speak French makes it more appealing.

Want a European vacation not too far from home?? Or want to visit North America but don't want to go into culture shock?

You come to Montreal:
It's buildings have European influence, most people know more than the standard English and French, the nightclubs are great, we're more liberated, the people are friendlier, you'll always feel welcome, it's absolutely wonderful.

It's the place to be........

:)

Well, technically I'm Australian, but I've been living in Vancouver BC for the past 5 years now. Canada rocks!

LadyMischief 02-07-2003 12:55 AM

I AM CANADIAN
I am not a lumberjack or a fur trader
And I don't live in an igloo
Or eat blubber
Or own a dogsled
And I don't know Jimmy, Sally, or Suzy from Canada,
Although I am certain they are really, really nice.
I have a Prime Minister not a President.
I speak English and French, not American.
And I pronounce it about, not a-boot.
I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack.
I believe in peacekeeping not policing.
Diversity not assimilation.
And that the beaver is a truly proud and noble animal.
A toque is hat.
A chesterfield is a couch.
And it is pronounced Zed, not zee.
Canada is the second largest land mass,
The FIRST nation of Hockey,
And the best part of North America!!
I am LadyMischief and I AM CANADIAN!!

london, ontario only had a lousy theme park called "Storybook Gardens" and a bridge named after Lawrence Welk so....

i had to move to Toronto, which is like a giant ant hill and has a tower that looks like a cock and a stadium that looks like a pussy and the whole city smells like piss so....

i had to move to Calgary, which i fondly renamed Salem, Alberta, because it has rules for everything and the premier is drunk more often than sober and the cowboys put leather straps on the broncs balls so....

i had to move to ROCKY'S GOPHER RANCH in Saskatchewan

any more questions fuckers???

Well I do have one little tidbit of crappy trivia for people who are from London. If you're a Gamer, you'll be overjoyed with a sense of tremendous pride.... or just not give a shit.

The game Unreal was created in London, On while Cliff Blezinski, the game developer attended school there. I met him last year and we talked a bit about his unfortunate time in London.

LUKE--> Alright, not that I guessed it, cause I have it? Or at least give me your address so I can steal it. Come on man, it's Canada, there's no crime here. :winkwink:
Oh wait, I forgot, you're in Toronto, you probabl have a :ak47:

The fact that Unreal was created in London almost makes up for the fact that London was once the home of Jenny Jones.

Seriously, London is a cool town. I wish the original Beef Baron was still open though.
