Kevin Smith is my hero - no joke. He inspires me to write. I met him once when I was back in Boston and we went to a special showing of Mallrats when it came out. He signed my friend's milk duds container and was very cool.

I love all of the films. If you haven't seen Clerks and Mallrats you are missing so much in the rest of the movies. They are all full of in jokes. Dogma is is plastered with them and Jay and Bob is just one big in joke. If you don't know the other films you only saw a 1/4 of the movie. Afterall Jay and Bob was pretty much just a farewell gift to the fans.

Yes, if you haven't seen every show you need to watch them all over. IN ORDER.

You will not get some of the funniest jokes in the shows unless you have seen the prior work.

Jersey Girl...the flick with Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. He is also signed up to direct the new Fletch prequel which Jason Lee will star in. Oh yeah, the world was begging for a new Fletch movie.

Also, once you have watched them all in the order in which they came out trying watching them in order of when they take place. Clerks is not the first if you do it in that order :)

I got Clerks and Mallrats back when they were $30-35 a DVD...now I think they have widescreen and better versions for like $20. The two-disc Jay & Silent Bob was only $15 new at Blockbuster when it first came out. I guess I should be thankful the technology is getting cheaper.

yeah, I had to order my clerks and mallrats DVD from the states because mallrats wasn't available on DVD here until recently and Clerks still isn't. The DVD of Dogma that is available in the UK sucks it is missing all the extras.
