Hey Las Vegas people, need some advice here. First-timer coming to your wicked city and there seems to be an almost endless list of sinful choices. So let's narrow it down please.

What are the best:

Strip clubs *
Escort agencies *
Casinos *
Places to meet drunk, wild, "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" kinda girls.

You see where I'm going with all this....

* By "best" I'm talking most bang for your buck, down-and-dirty, non-High Roller kinda places.
Sleazy, dirty, nasty, FUN places.
Places you won't spend $800 for a couple drinks and a lap dance.

And yeah...it's like living in any town up here.

That's why I make sure to hit the strip and the clubs and downtown as often as I can. I want to experience the city I moved to.

I lived 2 blocks from the beach on the Ft. Lauderdale strip from 1982 to 1988...and I never went to the beach even ONE time the whole time I lived there! LOL

So I'm determined to not let that "I live here so I don't experience it" phenomenon happen to me again.

Don't get me wrong...I do not like any of the big "happening" clubs. They all suck and are overpriced with terrible service.

But I do like going to the big casino's and seeing and being seen. And I love hitting Fremont and drinking. And of course a couple of local clubs off the strip that I really enjoy.

Matter of fact I'll be playing music at The Bikini Bar on Friday Jan. 20th for you guys that live here and for those of you staying for the AEE show. http://tptrash.com/

Disagree with you on this one. I would consider Marquee, XS, Surrender, Moon etc to be 'happening' and they certainly do not suck. Expensive yes, but always a good time. And the most 'happening' strip club in town (Rhino) definitely doesn't suck. Nothing compares to it 2-6am.

vegas is something for sure, but my favorite place is the Hofbrauahus.. across from the hard rock hotel, great german beers & food..and yep polka music!

I think that a show should be held on Fremont. Preferably at The Golden Nuggett. It's a very nice casino/hotel and right on the "old strip" of Fremont St.

So many cool things to do there. Places to eat, clubs to go to (even Glitter Gulch strip club), casinos to gamble at. Even a Zip Line to soar above the crowds. Bands playing on stages up and down the street. Everybody walking and partying up and down Fremont.

And as an added bonus...it's a LOT cheaper to stay there, drink there, etc.

I stay and party downtown vegas when I'm there for nascar. I have a fucking blast. Great cover bands playing on the street with people just getting ripped. Everyone is just down to get 100% shitty and have a blast. I love hanging out and partying at the Golden Nugget there too.
