Mainstream designers vs Adult designers

I've been putting a lot of time, money, and focus into building mainstream brands over the past few months and the talent of some mainstream designers and mainstream design firms is quite incredible. IMO there are very few adult designers that can come close to a lot of mainstream designers but this may be do to the number of the two when compared to each other.

I don't mind paying more for a killer design but paying more with an adult designer can be a real gamble. /rant
