Does anyone know how long it takes for a gallery to be reviewed over at the Hun? I've got one sitting in the queue for about a week now.

I don't expect to get a lot of productive traffic from there, more to get some interest in driving traffic to my main site and hopefully land a few bookmarkers.
Which leads me to another question. This is the gallery I submitted:

10 days roughly. Im a regular submitter. On my free account, i get about 3/month.

Most of the sites get accepted, however the content is too mainstream for the site, so the time visitors spends on the page will be like 3 secs or so, I think. Also, who will click through your banner there will be from Pakistan, India, Egypt etc. Not the traffic you want I believe
I'm speaking from recent experience from 3 look-a-like galleries (content - design - backlinking seemed similar).
But good luck though!
P.s.: The acceptance time is more like 3-5 weeks nowadays. Then the listing time is about 2-10 days after acceptance.The ONLY3X Network

You should be asking these questions at the huns forum. Probably not accepted or very slow as there are no other recips except his and sponsor is saturated.
You need quality recips, not your sites.
It takes a while for approvals but there are other options...which may work out faster.Comment

My galleries are usually accepted within 1 week to 1 1/2 weeks and usually make 2 sales on average (can't complain about that seeing how it only takes 10 minutes to make them!)Comment

Reason I asked here is it didn't seem like their forum gets much activity and I figured I'd get an answer quicker over here.
I'm new to the whole TGP idea, so I'm sorta learning this as I go. But I'm confused about the whole recip deal. Some of the site rules I've read want only their recip, others say to limit it to 5, others like the Hun says they don't even require it so I added it as a courtesy.
I appreciate all of the information posted in this thread though.. I'm a quick learner.. I'll get the hang of it eventually. Comment

Yesterday I had a listing on thehun and it ended up being in the top 8 galleries for yesterday So far that means a 1:2771 ratio , lol But still, I'm kinda proud hehe

9 times out of 10 changing a proven business formula is disasterous.. most people are creatures of habit and don't like change.. in this instance, I think if his site went to a standard tube format it would be harder to differentiate it from the rest. Surfers know other sites and formats exist. What continues to be a part of his success with bookmark traffic is the loyal following of people who like the accurate text descriptions, picture galleries and things being reviewed for quality. In my opinion, for what it is or isnt worth, at most to brand and announce a second url. Even that could be a slippery slope.

UPDATE 1: A good gallery DOES convert on theHun, now I can confirm for sure. As stated above, on the listing day I had 2 sales, non recurring single ones. As I ended up in the top 8 from yesterday, I do get about 70% amount of clicks as it was in yesterday, and so far today I made another 4 sales, 1 is recurring and 1 for 1 year meaning one big payout. So on one single, well made, good looking, good material gallery means 6 good sales at least on theHun (~100$) . So HAIL theHun!
UPDATE 2: I've contacted Michel also about a question I had regards with my earlier crappy looking gallery submits still in the queue today (wanted to get them deleted) and not just he deleted them, but reviewed my first gal in line! So once again: HAIL theHun forever!

Yup they do convert, if you can make a good gallery with a good sponsor you can easily get 2+ signups/per gallery. It hardly takes any time to make the galleries, so it never hurts to submit a few galleries every month in between other stuff you're working on.UPDATE 1: A good gallery DOES convert on theHun, now I can confirm for sure. Another thing I do, is if I have stopped promoting a certain sponsor for whatever reason and haven't hit the minimum payout...I make a few quick galleries and submit them to The Hun so I can finally reach the payout without having to devote my websites or blogs to promoting a sponsor I dropped.Comment
