I remember being all insecure at the first show.. my husband was with me. We noticed awfully fast that the "women" part of the whole thing was absolutely not that big of deal. He always felt far more threatened than I ever did.

People who ask me about the biz always scratch their heads in confusion when I say that there are indeed pornstars and models around everywhere but no one really likes to hang out with them much when there's so much biz to do...

My first one was either at the Monte Carlo or the one in Florida. Think it was the Monte Carlo that was the first of the two.

The truly first one, however, was the X-web Expo in Newark - not by AVN. Correct me if I am wrong - this is just how I remember it to be and the days back then were dizzy!

100 percent spot on! the parties went down hill (cept that miami lap dance party) when the amatuer contigency parted ways with the shows. I miss them. they made OTHER peoples parties more fun too.

Im in adult but the mainstream guys covet me more than the adult guys for some reason.. It will be interesting to compare and contrast the two shows going back to back like this. I expect to get tons of networking in for the affiliate summit show. Internext I don't know what to expect. Going there more for the tradition. But the people in those memories are gone.

expect to see alot of old faces at ASW...everyone's moved over to mainstream...all the big boys have been going to those shows for the last 3 years. I don't know many ppl who are going to Internext.

2004 in Vegas... Like Boneprone everyone wanted to talk to me and I literally moved from client to client for hours a day.

I'd have to go back to the hotel room and play it all over in my head... Read all of my notes and put everything back together in my head.

Then go out and party and even then, I had to turn most down and "appear" at several a night.

Went back in 2006 and it was completely different. Not as much going on. Went to as many parties, but business wise the level at which it was before just wasn't there...

Great time and did a lot of business though...

Strange thing is I did more business with people I had never heard of than any other time in my life. Total chance meetings...

I don't think shows will ever be like they were in the past. At least not until the industry smooths out a bit.

2004? Before I even was really on this board. It was at that show friends that were paysite owners then were like you should get on more boards. As you can see I did't bother joining boards until 2005. Was busy making money. Wasn't really doing it full time until 2006 I believe. Which in 2005 the money was still stupid easy.

2007 in Vegas, needed visa to get to the States.

Amazing times, almost lost my passport in Chicago after an 18 hour flight, landed in Vegas one day later in the morning as I missed the last connection because of a delayed flight, the next nine days accounted for some of the most exciting memories I have.
