As announced by VeriSign last July, the price for .COM and .NET domains will increase 7% and 10% starting January 15, 2012. Its recommended that you renew or purchase any new domains BEFORE that date to save some cash!

I have been with GoDaddy for 10+ years and have never once had a problem with them, as a matter of fact, they have helped me out quite a bit over the years.

They're a company that will rob you any chance they get. Look at their check-out process, not so honest is it? I just don't have the time to go on about their bad practices as there is plenty of information out there. Stay clear from Godaddy.

Saving a few bucks on a single domain with godaddy is like insuring your house with Dodgy Joe's... sure, you save a bit at first, but ultimately your ass gets fucked.

i used to host only on godaddy but know the renewal costs make a difference so i have started the move to namecheap.com better service cheaper and great support.

That's a rather specific looking price, is this a trick question? I think $7.87 would be lower than the wholesale rate, so the answer would most likely be "no."

This is what I pay with Godaddy for all my 200+ .com domains including renewals and .net domains are $6,67.

I pay $67 (special discount on the domain discount club) a year to save $3 per domain times 200+ domains. I think it's worth it

Nice I would suggest anything but godaddy at this point. I think they are the worst as far as ethics go.

I wish we had an extra 50k to get accredited, I would sell domains as low as we could. As for now it's $9.99 a year which isn't to bad.
