I have never done it, but a friend of mine's wife swears by it and claims it changed her life. She had chronic back pain so her doctor suggested she try it to help her stretch her back out. At first she saw that it did help. Now a few years later she has no pain, more energy, she is 40 years old and says she is in the best shape of her life and that yoga is the reason for it all.

Yeah I was thinking about doing it. You know tai chi is pretty bad ass, hmm I will have to check that out more.

I'd done martial arts for years, for half hour of each session, Tang Soo Do, a south Korean martial art, train a similar technique to pilates, using energy from the center out. My stomach was rock

You can find most martial arts, when traditional rather than for the competition, shall be about defining, technique & toning

My wife does yoga, loves it.

One thing is certain, it makes her more flexible during fucking. Things she used to complain about she now loves and is proud she can do.

I do Yoga at a crowded Hollywood gym full of young beautiful starlets. It's improved my flexibility and strength so I can attest it works wonders for me.

Yoga is incredibly difficult. Anyone who thinks otherwise, go try it. And then once you think you can do it, do it in a heated room.

Agreed!! I actually prefer warm or hot yoga. It makes my body feel amazing! You're right though... it's not easy at all!

I did not see anyone in this thread saying that yoga was easy, yet there are few comments like this one..

I did it college to get out of taking a strenous phys ed class (it must have been some requirement or something).

Then traded for a free pass to a 5 star fitness spa so I took a yoga class there a few years ago.

Yoga is lame but its a good business. You buy an empty space and put in a bhudda statue and you're good to go!
