Sounds like a zombie flick, never got into those, but I do have a question for anyone that can answer it:
When I was a kid, zombies were slow. Always dragging a foot around like a wife you are tired of or a lead weight. These days they seem much faster. What happened? Steroids? Zombie Olympics? Or was I just a lot faster then, so they seemed slower?
"I try to make a habit of bouncing my eyes up to the face of a beautiful woman, and often repeat “not mine” in my head or even verbally. She’s not mine. God has her set aside. She’s not mine. She’s His little girl, and she needs me to fight for her by keeping my eyes where they should be."

I didn't think I'd like it but I loved it. You really should watch the first episode and see if you like it.
I assume you've seen Sons of Anarchy already? Breaking Bad?
SOA sucks, would not waste my time. Never heard of Breaking Bad, will check it out.
*edit: see it is a series too. Thanks anyway.

Oh, it is a TV series? Yeah, that is what Netflix is trying to get me to start watching, but I don't have the time [or inclination] to follow a series. I have trouble keeping up with the NFL.

Yeah it's a series. Just consider it a 6 hour movie.
We are about to lose a TON of content tomorrow when their contract with providers is up. Not too happy about that. So long as the kids crap is still there, they will continue to get my $7.99 each month.
Did you see The Human Centipede movie? Sick as fuck but I enjoyed it.
Looks weird, added. Did you see the sequel as well?

Netflix is losing content. If you notice when you click on the titles and view more info, there is an expiration date. Most of the ones I clicked on last night had a 1/1/2012 expire date.
Something to do with Netflix contract with the STARZ network. Most of the more recent titles available to stream come from STARZ.

hmmm, I did a brief scan, then came back, re-read your comment, then scanned again, concentrating on the Starz category. I only found a couple that had an expiration date and the expiration was only on the streaming portion. The DVD/Blu Ray option remained.

Yeah..I was talking streaming only. Not sure how their contract for dvd run, but for instant viewing, STARZ stuff is about to disappear.

Well again, I only saw one Starz streaming on my list that had an expiration date. I thought ALL streaming was on a limited time basis. I know HBO on demand has expiration dates for their movies. They just tell you time is running out until it is close (last couple of weeks I think).
Exam was pretty interesting. Also, while it IS a series, Flashforward only has one season and IMO it was pretty good except Joseph Fiennes acting and their writing for his character. At one season, it's about the length of 8 movies.

There's two different kinds of zombies. The "original" zombies that were from the old days, the ones that are basically brain dead and eat "brains". The ones that come out of the grave and walk around half dead.
Then the "infected" zombies (usually some strain of disease released on accident) that maintain all normal human skills....but are just fucked up and eat people.
I think the "infected" zombies are more popular now-a-days -- last time I saw "original" zombies was shawn of the dead.

Okay, makes sense I guess. I suppose the disease that causes zombieism (wtf?) was the result of some guy fucking a monkey then spreading it to other humans? Or was it more a Legionnaires thing?

Actually... The Starz thing got worked out, a few months ago Starz was NOT going to renew their contract with NF and lots of titles just went bye-bye but they have since redid their contracts and everything is good for at least another year.
As for the "expire dates" I've noticed with some titles they DO expire I have always figured they rotate out streaming stuff.
to me there's a lot MORE streaming content now then there was before, granted to each their own tastes, but I found it cool as hell that they now have all the old cartoons from the 60's and 70's in the streaming section (Archie, Sabrina, Casper, Mr.Magoo for example) they also added Fat Albert, The Munsters and The Adams Family not too long ago.
What IS starting to become very interesting though is all the cable stations now doing streaming... HBO GO, EPIX, (and Starz may be doing it to) we're getting more and more choices.
It took awhile, but at least with Skins "slag" and "Tosser" are about the only actual brit slang, the rest is good ole' American cursing lol
Shameless I ONLY watched the first ep so far, I never knew it was a UK show before it came to Showtime with William H Macey (but I guess I'm not all that surprised, seems LOTS of shows are just re-works of UK shows lately)

Arguing with a troll is a lot like wrestling in the mud with a pig, after a couple of hours you realize the pig likes it.

Instant view is screwing me up. 2:3 DVD's received this week I already watched via the XBOX.

I searched before I responded an again after you posted. Not once have I seen anything backing up what you say. Everything I have pulled up states that STARZ backed out of negotiations. I can find no info or news stating that they've all gone back to the table for discussions and no evidence of a contract renewal.
I also don't remember any titlesdisappearing. The contract wasn't up until the end of January. My kids have been watching the same Disney flicks for months. Ad the Disney stuff comes FRO STARZ.
?This decision is a result of our strategy to protect the premium nature of our brand by preserving the appropriate pricing and packaging of our exclusive and highly valuable content,? Starz said in a statement Thursday. ?With our current studio rights and growing original programming presence, the network is in an excellent position to evaluate new opportunities and expand its overall business.?
I have to ask, has anyone here ever subscribed to Starz premium channel? The only time I ever had it was when it was a free add-on with some HBO package. When the special ended, they got the boot. I hardly ever watched it. I think they are dreaming if they think their sales are going to increase because they don't work with NF any longer.

If you have a link...please pass it along.
hmm odd, I just did a few searches myself, and not only does it seem you are right, it also seems (and this is what I find a bit odd) there's not been much 'talk' or 'news' about is since sep 1st and 2nd (a few nov blurbs)
I just really assumed (I know I know lol) that since one day I logged in and there were hardly NO Starz Titles showing up, then I heard about the contract deals, logged back in a few weeks later and TONS of new stuff from Starz was there, did some searching then and found NOTHING about the deal so I just had to assume they reached some sort of agreement with each other.
still today there are much more Starz titles to choose from then there used to be, maybe they are just dumping everything in till Feb 28th (when the deal expires from what I just saw)

That being said, NF is probably screwed.
I have Starz here, LOVE their new show "Boss" and the "Early Premieres" section on demand are pretty good.
I also have all the other premi chans too though, HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Epix & The Movie Channel

I have the Starz channel, but only because it is free with the cable package I have had. I do occasionally watch movies on it and it has had some cool TV shows like Spartacus and a new one they have going right now called Boss. Boss stars Kelsey Grammer as the mayor of Chicago who is a little bit corrupt and very much a part of the political machine. In the first episode he is diagnosed with a degenerative neurological disorder. The doctor tells him he as 3-5 years at best so he decides to shake things up a little bit.
That said, if I didn't have it I wouldn't miss it.
I still have a feeling they will come to some kind of an agreement with Netflix. It is free money for them and like you say they likely aren't going to see a huge increase in sales if they leave Netflix.
