Did moving to a CDN change your sales?

I've only been testing for 1 week so the results are not yet statistically significant -

No change in sales but download reliability is dramatically better. No complaints.Comment

All I can say is a site I visit very often recently switched to Cloudflare. I have never seen the site down ever but now I regularly see the Cloudflare unavailable screen. So as of now I do not have a very good opinion of them... seeing as the site was More available pre-CDN.Go Fuck Yourself!

A CDN when properly chosen and used can be a asset to your business. Though I am not a fan of Cloudflare I have used the CDN that CaveCreek and NatNet use. I have also heard the one that Webair has is very good.
CDN's will not increase new sales drastically or even enough to register statistically beyond the standard deviation in my experience. That said what I have found is the it will affect the overall customer satisfaction, return rate and rebill ratios, if you offer enough good content for them to enjoy the product. When you are serving very large HD mp4's around the world the CDN makes a huge difference in how the customer experiences your site after he joins..
When used on the tour for your preview clips the difference is not as noticeable but it is significant enough that it will affect the decision of a few heavy users.
With the prevalence of free porn, the user experience is one of the only things a pay site can use to compete. Having this in mind makes the decision to offer the best possible experience even if slightly more expensive, a no brainer.TPF 2010 "They are eating our sausages!"Comment

Thanks for your comments. I only moved one of my sites to a CND (Cloudflare) one week ago, I paid out some cash as the free package wouldn't be enough, but new sales have dropped right down for that site ever since. Could be a coincidence, but I'm pretty close to switching the nameservers back to my VPS. I would need to test it for a couple of months to have more idea, but my instinct tells me something is not as good as before.Comment

it's unlikely to effect sales, but it might effect your SE rank. If the page loads faster you might see an increase in se traffic.Mechanical Bunny Media

The thing about cloudflare it blocks legitimate users to if it thinks the persons a bot it will make them type a captcha that will annoy some users. Also if its hit with alot of users at once it will show the unavailable most people suggest it for DDOS but cloudflare the last thing you want on your site when being DDOS. Cloudflare helps on some sites though iv seen makes it faster and some pirate sites hide behind it.Thanks for your comments.
