While I don't agree with SOPA, I think it's pretty funny that Namecheap is now taking a stand against SOPA when namecheap is one of the few registrars that has been taking down legal pharma domains.
Over the past 2 years Namecheap has taken down several sites that were being run by Canadians who targeted the Canadian market. All because the domain was registered with a US based company (Namecheap) and some of the products those sites were selling required a prescription in the US. |

i use namecheap now as my primary and i do need to move some more domains to them

Just because they are against SOPA doesn't mean they support piracy. I just started using namecheap about a month ago because godaddy is a bit spammy. I've been at godaddy for a while... since .coms were still like $75 a year.
