I'm not familiar with this. There are tons of these sites posting mugshots, and details, and usually posted by the State. How was this one different? He just took it too far?

Also, if it is illegal to profit from public info, wouldn't that affect sites that charge for access?

Blabbermouthks's web site is back up after changing the wording.

He is kind enough to remove you for free is you write a 5 page letter about your arrest.

He's mailing out letters to everyone arrested (and not convicted yet) telling them to pay him $200 to remove info....and even threatens to post all their info on flyers around neighborhoods, billboards, etc.
