What is a good way to transfer over 50GB from one server to another without download then upload?

I've seen/heard of some solutions, but the reason I ask this question is for backup. Does anyone know of a solution that is out there that could transfer GBs from one server to another without having to download myself and then re upload.

Transfer over 50GB to a backup server, what would work best?

of course there is, ask your hosting company.
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

rsync or scp, or if both ftp servers support it you can do server-to-server ftp using something like flashfxp

i would make a tar archive of the files and ftp from your server to the other server, works like a charm. This is easier then using rsync if you don't have any experience with it
