OK, but here's the thing.

Why can't I put it on a domain that already has traffic?

If I change the DNS to my traffic site then all my links indexed by google get dumped.

I can redirect some traffic to a new domain but that's not going to be a lot of traffic.

I would like to have all the hostedtube videos embedded into my current site so I can
send the most traffic.

ok to answer your obvious question, no. it can't be done. that's why is called a "hosted" tube.

you can grab embeds for your site at the regular pimproll admin however.

One more question to the list.. can these be added to subdomains?

My names are still propagating since 12 last night. Read on the main thread there is a glitch with pimproll dns submission so I guess it wont be up until Monday when everyone gets back :(

Is the DNS automated or does it need a manual authorisation? My first tube from yesterday is fine but the second one i did this morning is still showing a DNS warning symbol.

I think it would be really cool, since the page backgrounds have a 250k limit, for them to create a sub bg area. that way you can center a picture of some hot chicks, or maybe a cool but not tiled design behind the content but over the main background. You also wouldnt have to worry about making one huge bg to od this, especially with the size limit. could have a small background jpeg and a smal to mid sized transparent png.

Just have the form write the file to a css style and place an id'd div with the content in between.

I don't know if they fixed it but they were having issues with the dns auto submitting o their side. It took me like 14 hrs + before mine went up. Some other guys it went up instantly and some others after a couple of hours, etc...

If you set it up a while ago, and your dns changes are showing on your hosts side, but you see an unknown or 404 on the hostedtube site, maybe icq them? They may be able to do it manually.
