    NOW can we please stop funding Israel?

    It's an abomination I tell ya!

    Israel 'Highless' Marijuana Offers Medical Benefits Without The High

    They grow in a secret location in northern Israel. A tall fence, security cameras and an armed guard protect them from criminals. A hint of their sweet-scented blossom carries in the air: rows and rows of cannabis plants, as far as the eye can see.

      I was going to make a joke but rather say something else.

      Claiming that marijuana has the same effects for treating depression without the
      high is non-sense.

                  As a Canadian, I agree 100%. You can be an "illegal" refugee who was dumped off the coast of Vancouver and receive more help and better benefits than any poor Canadian could ever hope for.

                  Canada is more concerned about looking good in the foreign press than it is about taking care of its own people.

                  You could be a Tamil Tiger jumping off a boat from Sri Lanka, and you would be instantly treated better than a self-employed Canadian who lost his job.

                  Refugees get training, education, free housing, free dental, free medication, full medical... it goes on. Actual, real Canadian citizens get none of that - unless they work for the government (the federal government is the single largest employer in Canada, btw. That`s where the tax money goes...)

                              It was a half-hearted joke, along the lines of... we're funding them, and they're using that funding to develop a strain of marijuana that doesn't get you high. Hence the suggestion that we stop funding them.

                              I didn't say it was a GOOD joke...
