Xenigo has a good recommendation for you there...

It really all depends on your price range.

Excellent recommendation, this build would be perfect...the new Sandy Bridge processors rock and RAM is so cheap nowadays that you might as well get that 32GB. I have 16GB myself and about to upgrade to 32GB since I found a good deal on 8GB for $36

If you decide on getting anything other than a Sandy Bridge Intel processor, kill yourself promptly.

Not for 8 x 8gb modules. That's a pretty incredible price, actually.

I'm amazed it's even possible to cram that much memory into a desktop machine! The cost of the equipment is basically nothing.

Look what this sort of a machine would have cost you 5 years ago. You'd have to go with an enterprise machine with memory risers, and the memory would need to be ECC... and you'd end up spending about $20k or something crazy. This machine is more like $2k. That's madness.

nice setup if you need it i dont know many webmasters that need 64 gigs of ram on their workstation 99% of webmasters will be fine with 16

and unless your doing encoding or something thats cpu intensive spending the $$$ on a 6core cpu is a waste.
