No, they can't go after back taxes. There is a clause in the Constitution somewhere about Congress not being able to create "ex post facto" laws. My guess is that the companies that have made agreements were not collecting sales tax from customers in their own states and were facing huge penalties so they cut a deal.Originally posted by Carrie
