Who here just likes to use plain old pen and paper?

Since I was 15 years old I have been on a computer. I always tried to type everything out. In the past few years I've found myself really enjoying sitting back in a chair and simply going analog with my ideas and brainstorming. I keep a moleskine journal I call my idea journal and enjoy jotting down my thoughts on business and even personal goals in it.

Anyone else here just love a plain old pad and pen or do you try to keep everything digital?

I used to keep paper planner books for each year with a monthly page layout for all my activities and notes, but now I do it all on a calendar program on my Android phone. I couldn't imagine going back to paper.

Every morning I make a list of todo which may consist of the day before unfinished items too.

All new ideas have a separate list too.

I do a lot of brainstorming on paper. I also keep all of my passwords and log in information on paper, in a safe, that I open in the morning to take the paper out, and then lock it back up at night. I'm paranoid about keeping that type of document as a digital log somewhere.

I carry three small pads in my vest pocket. One for my business, one for myself, and one for learning new things and ideas for development. I find them very handy.

mine too - even my signature is now a mess, it's not like my signature was 10 years ago. so now when i write out checks I hold my pen like a 7 year old writing really slowly trying to make my writing nicer.

Got 2 notebooks but mainly because I've got a memory like a sieve and if I don't write things down I forget to do them.

My penmanship had degraded so badly also. I remember going to the DMV and filling out a form to register my car and the lady couldn't read what it said. Over the last year I have to say it has improved though.

Sometimes, you can improve your writing if you just sit down a practice writing slowly and neatly. The hands need to be retrained; or, they will just go for speed.

Most of us haven't practice cursive handwriting since elementary school.
