99.9% of all news sources are controlled by big brother, thus there truly isn't a reliable source of news. It's all hot topic issues and celebrity garbage.

The Beeb is only biased to the centre and not either wing; but yes it is biased to moderates.
I personally listen to NPR, watch Al Jazeera and Channel 4 News here in the UK, read the Independent if I pick a paper up.
Occasionally I watch Fox News but only because I find it really funny.I'm out.Comment

Sometimes my stumble button will hit a news article, that's about it. Stopped watching tv a while back and don't visit any of those sites. I'm in Fl and I didn't know about the tropical depression forming until yesterday when it started pouring/flooding.

Most people will say the Russian Today network and Al Jazeera.

Al Jazeera is the best, hands down.
Our satellite gets news from literally all over the world, many are English speaking, and I can say that without question, Al Jazeera is the best and tackles real stories that should be news. Any network that Bush and Blair wanted to bomb and take off the air, is the one you should be listening to.Comment

LOL
That is one problem with zero news.
Way worth it tho. Actually I read GFY and I THINK Romney is running against Obama LOL

I will be glad for the 3 years of life I did something else besides hear what unfortunate thing happened to so and so.
What am I gonna do about it? Simply dont need to know and in fact it is BETTER not to know what "your" probs are

Al Jazeera, depending on the section, is quite good. Has the same liberal slant as other media outlets but its all good-one of the first thing some kids learn in junior high is to read with a filter on.Comment

+1

I read a wide variety of sources, about a wide variety of topics everyday, because I do not like to rely on one source for my information, and I am interested and passionate about many issues.
With that said, I enjoy watching MSNBC because of it's liberal/left leaning perspective, and I hit these websites on a regular basis, since I like reading investigative news stories:
http://www.rawstory.com/
http://www.alternet.org/
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/
http://www.thenation.com/
http://www.motherjones.com/
http://mediamatters.org/
I also like to follow Rachel Maddow, Michael Moore, Matt Taibbi, and Jeremy Scahill.
Other sources I check out on a regular basis include WSJ, Forbes, NPR, Moyers, Huffington Post, NYT, RT, AJ, and I will read articles from National Review, Drudge Report, etc., plus I even get a kick out of watching Faux News from time to time.
