Anybody know of any? We used turbosmtp but they only accept payments through google now. I do not.

Paypal acceptance is key.

You should really check the ones from my first post if you do not use paypal anyway, it's like 14$ for the same, and they are good.

i use namecheap to host my mail, they also provide smtp

Google will ban your ass fast, so will namecheap;-)

If you also want the mail delivered to the intended receivers, there is more to that than just sending out mails.

Exactly, at this point we noticed our order confirmations of our MAINSTREAM stores aren't even delivered anymore to any hotmail user. Without the extra settings given by an smtp host, you might as well not send at all.

Worth mentioning that they only accept customers from Canada, Ireland, and USA.

Check out SMTP.com , they accept PayPal as well.
We use them for quite some time and I have no complaints.

hotmail have delivery rate limiter... if you're sending to hotmail, you need to limit your sending rate to @hotmail.com, or send from multiple IP addresses, or risk being blacklisted....

well, yeah, but if in europe, just add your country tld in place of .ie and you'll prolly find the same page, but accepted from your country...

I don't think 176 per year is a bad deal for 10K mails per month (120K mails / year). I also got dedicated servers with SMTP that I could use for sending mails or an actual dedicated mail server + I could use both google and span arrest.

Yet I still decide to use primary AuthSMTP for the single reason that the mails are getting delivered. I guess if you really want to save the $150 / year it wouldn't be a big deal to tell people to look for your mail in the spam folder instead of the inbox :-)
