I have a question to affiliates and solo site webmasters out there. I have noticed more and more solo site tours that have a link that clicks off the tour to the models twitter profile. isnt that a traffic leak and does the affiliate not care anymore? Just curious. Janessa is at 41,240 twitter followers now i can only image if i added a link on her tour. please let me know your thoughts..

really simple solution buy a trade script that support inline refer
feed the affiliate code in that value
use the return script from twitter to tour
put each persons affiliate code enabled link in the script as the return url.
any leaks are balanced returns FROM twitter.

twitter links just need to open in a new window, links like that are not hurting affiliates, they only make the site more personal which gains better joins.
edit: or do like you did and put links on your landing page, affiliates usually skip into the home page.
