    Surprises! Love them or hate them ??

    Personally, i fucking HATE THEM.

    My girlfriend has this thing about Xmas and keeping everything a surprise.

    I try to pick out stuff for myself so she won't go buying "surprise" gifts, but she still does it anyway because she reckons that's what Xmas is all about. Infact she does it at Birthdays aswell.

    Thing is, she usually expects me to get her something she doesn't know about above the things she knows i've bought her, but the "surprise" is i've got her fuck all.


    Keep the surprises for the kids at Xmas. Adults don't need it. It usually ends with an awkward "oh thanks just what i wanted" anyway...

                              I guess it is a girl thing because I totally agree with your girlfriend.

                              Xmas and Bdays are about getting gifts that someone picked out thinking of you, everything else you want, you can ask for and get any day of the year.

                              However my bf feels the same way that you do, most be a guy thing.
