The icmregistry.com/whois/ and whois.nic.xxx still give a "Reserved by ICM Registry" for most domains.
So I checked godaddy, netsol etc. whois, and these display the real whois, if the domain is registered via them.
So the only way now seems to try the whois of a xxx name from a dozen registrars, and hope you catch the right one.
As example I could not find the whois of camtube.xxx , is not a godaddy or netsol, ok it redirects to a .com which is streamate whitelabel and you can guess from it, but I meant the xxx whois.
ICM have to fix/implement the whois otherwise .xxx it is a little too much anonymous, no way to know who register what or to contact them (for example if they registered names similar to your com's and want discuss).
