For you younger folks, the World War 2, G.I. bill was to help vets get education and a job. Expanded a lot since then, it was to create a productive workforce and a hand up for the vet. Unfortunately scamming companies rape the laws.
Like 1945, there's lots of people hungry for work, but if they can't provide a decent living for themselves and family, then what good is work? I've had days it cost me more in gas, let alone wear on the car to go to work. Did it only out of self pride and hope for a better job coming.Comment
