    China will not hesitate to protect Iran

    Why ?

    "AFP" said: "China supports Iran and purchases
    large quantities of oil from Iran.
    Meanwhile, China is Iran's biggest trading partner.
    Their bilateral trade totals up to $ 30 billion.

    "Voice of America" reported, according to Chinese customs'
    data, this year (2011) Iran could become China's second largest crude oil supplier."

                                                              I don't know how many of you realize this but China is on the verge, perpetually for last couple years, of implosion. A good huge war will pull them out of it... Just likeww2 pulled US out of the depression.

                                                              I agree that US is not in biz of straight ahead war anymore...politics prevents us from winning anything anyway. It will be covert. But Iran, China and Russia can play that game well. Just my

                                                                              Doesn't that thinking operate on the premise of the west seeking a regime change in Iran, rather than the more limited goal of taking out their nuclear program?

                                                                              I actually find it hard to believe that China and Russia really see a nuclear armed Iran as being in their own best interests in any case.

                                                                              As long as they can continue their business arrangements with Iran as before, there's no way in hell they'll start an all out world war over this
