Lifelong Eagles fan here...one who was brazen enough to predict a Superbowl victory a few months back right here on GFY. I missed the first half of the game, but laughed when I turned it on at the start of the second half and saw them losing.
I continued to laugh everytime the Eagles did something shitty, stupid or just fucked up overall. The wife turned the game off early in the fourth (I didn't complain), but I laughed even harder when I checked the final score online and saw they got blown out.
This team has become so bad it's just laughable. I can't even be mad, or sad, anymore. It's just fucking hilarious. I don't even care what happens the rest of this season (except vs. Dallas; I can't stand losing to the Cowboys). Just start working on next year.
Who Young or McNabb? lol just kidding. The problem is Vick. Never put an asshole loser at the helm. The trickle down effect is always negative.
Getting a little carried away don't you think?
Vick hasn't even played for the past three weeks.
A horrible defense, alligator armed receivers, bad play calling and even worse clock management head the long list of problems this team is plagued with.

Philly fans have to be turning themselves inside out. In the preseason everyone had this team already in the Super Bowl and starting to build a dynasty. Now they won't be making the playoffs.
horrible fucking game and complete shame. Young is horrible and can't pass for shit. Should get rid of him and bring McNabb back
As an Eagles fan since I knew what football was, I've had enough with a decade of disappointment from a guy with no drive or heart, like Mcnabb. He just seemed like he never had any passion, and quit easily. Like during the superbowl with the pats, he just quit.
I will jump on the bandwagon and say it's Reid's time to go. He's got a roster full of talent and doesn't seem to be able to use that talent properly. He's been a hell of a coach, and deserves all the recognition he's received in the past, but change and a new approach can do wonders for a team, especially one as young as this one now is.
After about his 3rd or 4th season in Philly I said McNabb wasn't the guy. Eagles fans I know of course argued with me, and it took a full 12 seasons before they all realized I was right. Now teams are realizing it after only 1-2 years at most and letting him go. Fact is no matter what team picks him up next, McNabb isn't the guy. Period. I can't think of one team in the NFL that would be made better with him as their starter. If I owned a team I don't think I'd even like him as my 3rd stringer. Because he isn't the guy.
Vick could be the guy. The way his injuries are going we may never know for sure. Maybe next year, if he gets the right mix in front of him and he has a full season with no "bad" games and they have a stronger D there's no reason why they couldn't get to the SB.
Vince Young? So not the guy. Touted as possibly the next great franchise QB in Atlanta he hasn't lived up to any of the hype ever, barring a few decent games here and there. So far he's stuck in the "way overrated" zone.
Andy Reid -- It's possible that he just needs to get booted and into another organization willing to turn things over to him and give him a fresh start and let him mold a team and work his magic. He's lost what mojo he had in Philly.
A horrible defense, alligator armed receivers, bad play calling and even worse clock management head the long list of problems this team is plagued with.
Even when he was with Atlanta there was just a negative "aura" about the guy. A gifted athlete yes, but because of his personality Andy Reid is the last guy he needs to be playing for. Then again I'm a Bengal fan so what the fuck do I know.
You weren't saying this last season when he put that team on his back.
Might have me confused with someone else. I've always thought Vick was a gifted athlete but never liked the guy. I can recall a Monday night game when the Falcons were losing and Vick took himself out of the game. Team leader quits in the fourth quarter? That mindset doesn't change just because he went to the Eagles.
Btw this may have escaped some of you but the Seahawks aren't the sucky team they were in the early part of the season. They're coming into their stride right now, it's happening before our very eyes, so I'm really not surprised at all that they blew out the Eagles.
Disappointed yes, surprised no. And not because I'm an Eagles fan, I'm actually a 49'ers fan from a way back. I simply took the Eagles in the pool and in bets. I really should have seen this coming but... we live and we learn.
Yeps its Vicks fault he was hit like a trailer park wife almost every snap for the first six games of the season. And its Vick's fault the eagles can't tackle.
I love how it was the "dream team" and even last night all 4 of the pre game hosts picked the eagles, and even the thread "can't even beat the seahawks". As a seahawks fan I love beating the over rated east coast football teams.
But on a serious note fuck Trent Cole, he injured our left tackle by hitting him after the whistle. What a little bitch!!!

Thing is, everytime the subject of a coaching change in Philly comes up a very, verrrry cold chill runs down my spine.
Andy Reid had some good years, but before him you have to go all the way back to the late 80's and Buddy Ryan to find an Eagles coach that didn't suck.
Before Ryan the last decent one was Vermeil and before him we had nothing but shit coaches since the year 1960.
