![]() I noticed google has started sandboxing its image search results.
When you search for an image it will display the image with the site it was found on in an iframe behind it. Google has started sandboxing the iframe to disable any javascript or flash content found on the page. Right now it only affects google chrome but i am sure firefox and ie will adopt it soon

i notice a strange quirk also , if you search "site:photobucket.com" in google images and try clicking on one of the images it will show the normal iframe with a thumbnail over the iframe , but the thumbnail suddenly shrinks to allow a better view of the page behind it, you will also notice the text on the right hand side also suddenly changes to reflect the new size ratio.

I seriously doubt any one of us could do this and win in court if sued.
But the google can.

So this will eliminate java based google image redirects?
Most of my blogs refresh google images to to the page it is on. That would suck if they could block that. |

This was always bound to happen, especially as Google moves to integrate search into the whole Google+ ecosystem. I suspect there will be many other changes to the playing field over time.
