    Amazon Does Not Need My CVV ?

    A few days ago I joined Amazon S3 to test their waters.
    Filled in all the crap they ask, but nowhere I could find an option
    to give them my CVV number that belongs to the CC that I used to join.

    Will they still be able to take any charges from my account ?
    I always thought a CVV is needed in order to process ?

    Can someone enlighten me ?

      If they have your full address they don't need it right?

          correct i've never had to give them CVV2 when shopping on amazon

          cvv2 is just basically another anti-fraud measure that's up to the merchant if they want to require it. all that's needed to charge a card is the # and expiration date
