I also see some of you already have me as the big bad villain here while the truth is I don’t think I did anything so terrible under the conditions. Perhaps you should take into consideration the entire episode before you paint me as some gun wielding woman terrorizer. For openers this was not an attack against American Muslim woman only the outfits a few of them wear, I clearly said I had now idea who or what was under the gown when I first saw it. I knew I would be leaving early today and the dog and I wouldn’t get our morning jog in so I decided to go last night; it was midnight or close to it. I’ve never been in that area late at night but I do know there are stray dogs there and we also had a few muggings so I decided to take my firearm with me, something I rarely do, it was well concealed and not intimidating in any way. When I saw this thing I was concerned and I think for good reason, this is a desolate are especially at that time of night, it was pitch black save for few lights here and there and the closer it got the more I could see that the face as well as the entire body was covered in black so I step a few feet off the path shortened the hold on my dog waiting for her to pass. There was no way that she could possibly have seen the gun at that time nor am I sure she ever saw it, I didn’t have it pointed at her and it wasn’t some big shiny metal gun it was close to my far side from her direction pointed at the ground. For whatever reason when she approached me within 5 or 10 feet she suddenly darted off the path, the only way I was able to determine it was a woman was by the sound she made but I really cant be sure what caused her to dart like that, I doubt it was my dog he’s 24 lbs and was on a leash, I assumed it was the gun but maybe it was me or the way I was acting or maybe she was some crack whore looking to rip me off. Bottom line is if she wasn’t dressed in that garb this whole situation would never have happened and I still maintain people dressed in a disguise to that extent in public be it religious outfits or costumes should be illegal. I also know that I speak for the majority of American Muslim woman when it comes to veils and many other ways woman are forced to live in most Muslim countries. With that said I hope we can put this thread to rest. |
Where do you live?

hopefully the people in your neighborgood read this advice.
If you come face-to-face with someone threatening you with a gun, knife, or other weapon, there are steps that you can take to make the situation less dangerous. Difficulty: Hard Time Required: However long it takes. Here's How: Stay calm. If you get the opportunity, quietly signal for help. Maintain eye contact with the assailant. Stall for time until help arrives or you can try to escape. Keep talking, but follow instructions from the person who has the weapon. Let them know that you are cooperating. Do not try to grab the weapon. Watch for a possible chance to escape to a safe area. Do not be a hero and risk harm to yourself or others. Do not verbally or physically challenge the person with the weapon. Make no sudden moves. If you need to move, tell the person with the weapon first. Do not resist. Tips: Be prepared to give the assailant your cash, wallet or jewelry. It is not worth the risk. Your life is more valuable than material possessions, which can be replaced. Try to remember the assailant's appearance and clothing, but do so carefully, without staring. After the confrontation call 9-1-1 as soon as possible. Notifying the police quickly will increase the chance of apprehending the suspect and preventing future victims. What You Need A little courage and a lot of faith. |
Meanwhile, on an "Women For The Right To Wear A Veil" message board somewhere:
"So there I was, walking quickly through 'Mugger's Lake' one night, unarmed and defenseless in the dark, and suddenly see this huge roided out motherfucker with a dog, armed to the teeth, gun at the ready, lurking in the shadows like a fucking maniac. Fortunately I escaped with my life. What is America coming to?" |

You should have raped her for walking alone without a male escort. If she complained after you could have just said you were trying to understand her faith and make her feel more at home!
|
OP you're a fucking retard.
Only more so thinking you're going to separate dogs with a 2 inch pocket knife. Please kill yourself and save the next poor innocent who startles you while you're packing. |
So you should be allowed to carry firearms, but she shouldn't be allowed to wear the clothes she chooses? You almost shot someone based on what they were wearing? What country do you live in again?
|
A 2 inch knife is good in a prison shower or to cut bananas, not to stop wildlife. How many bites from a rabid animal will you get before it bleeds out from that knife?
I think you need to take classes if you plan to carry and do some real life simulations. Have you ever shot a mving target at that I distance in the dark? Did you have a weapons light or tacticle light on your person? Lasers don't count as you can not discrminate what your target it. |
...and I carry...often. I have never drawn in more than 25 years. I caught a poacher on my propery and held him until the police took him away and never showed my weapon or let him know I had one. It's in the attitude and situational awareness ...not fear.

Grim reapers and ninjas walking down the sidewalk= fantasy Now ask yourself again, if you see a person wearing a veil walking down the sidewalk, what would be a rational reaction? That the grim reaper or a ninja is about to attack you? Or that a peaceful Muslim women is just walking down the street minding her own business? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh |

I totally agree. We need to show respect for their faith. :thumbsup |

I felt 100% safe the entire time. Not one act of agreesion, violence . Nothing. Never experienced one person with a problem with me because I wasnt mulsim. Not fucking one. No overtly repre4ssed women at all. Desert culture ? :1orglaugh 200 million muslims and not a single desert in site and not a chance you have to wear the veil if you dont want to. Now read that again pussy. No deserts and no veils. :1orglaugh Next time you open your little cunthole of a mouth try to expell something that isnt an utter joke |

This shows the real problem. Many religions treat women as second class people or possessions. To be covered up or owned. |

You do realize fined and find are pronounced the same but mean entirely different things. Fined makes no sense in the context you are using it. Find is the word you should be using. :2 cents: . |

Religion and especially islam is wrong. It makes people do fucked up things. And simply saying he or she is not a proper muslim won't change that fact. |

Find = discover something . |

And barfind would mean finding bars. A bar guide. A social network based off of finding bars is one thing. A social network finding bars that were fined is very different. I think something is being lost in translation and would hate to see a site developed based on the wrong term. . |
