Don't get hung up on the "star" part of "porn star". To the average person out there if they know a member of their family or some acquaintence who has had sex on camera even one time in an obscure amateur video clip, they are a "porn star" as far as the straight world is concerned.

Silly when girls think they're stars for fucking some dude on camera.. its all perception anyway.

I mean do you think a porn actress is a star because of her websites' success, a book on the bestsellers list and endorsements handed to her? I'd say so, but that's my opinion. Or is it just a popularity contest? If she has many followers/fans, then one could say she's a star.

Again, it's all related to perception.

I would think of an actress as any girl who was hired/paid to be a part of a production.

I think there is a big difference between a porn star and a person that was in a few porn productions. I guess for me it would be her popularity in the the world, not just among her peers.
