If You Had Just Discovered The Web

If you had just discovered the web and you were to start from scratch in this business, but somehow you had all of the knowledge you have now, what would you go for? What would you do on the internets?

Web development services? SEO / traffic? Affiliate marketing? Membership sites? Hosting services? Domains? PR / copywriting? Something else? I'd still go for web development myself, but i'd also look into the traffic business, a-to-z SEO, etc...

If you're going to go in this direction, I'd go back to 1990 and buy all the domains that webfather missed. Better yet, I'd buy that $50,000,000 winning lottery ticket and not have to waste my time posting stupid shit with the hope of getting a green nick at GFY beore I die!!! Here's a Youtube video that's gonna be deleted in a couple minutes: |

Programming.. I've always had a ton of ideas for various services or apps, but I've given up trying to work with freelance programmers.. It never ends well, seems they are always flakes.. otherwise they wouldn't be doing side jobs..

I guess that happens when you don't properly read threads. I'm asking what you'd do in this business if you found internet today, not yesterday or X amount of time ago, it's a practical and relevant question.

Anyhow, i'll go on posting stupid shit, one day that green nick will be mine. Victory i say. ![]()

Lol, yeah let's open a third world user upload service out of the blue having no clue about the internet.. although you did say "but somehow you had all of the knowledge you have now" which is kind of confusing. I would answer the question but how exactly would I discover the web today and have all this knowledge of it?

This is a winner, for sure. There's money in web development, that's a sure fact.
