Happened to me recently too, with a sponsor. Thought we were cool, few weeks later he copied one of my big money making sites thinking all it took was a carbon copy to be me. Found out the hard way you can't be me. I was probably his only converting affiliate and I moved on.
He copied the domain and all that too lol.

I've been honing my bullshit detector for decades and I smelled yours from miles away the first time I read about your offerings. I once bought some test traffic from GTS.
The response was appalling so I checked a few of the referring sites.
What I found was truly shocking. I complained to GTS who blamed rogue publishers. They squirmed for a couple of weeks, but I eventually got a refund when I threatened to publish my experience on the boards and chargeback the payment on the company card.

I'm glad GFY is the barometer of respected people in this industry.I know the bro club was strong long ago and I also know that happy clients will usually ignore others that are pissed at you but 2011 is a lot different than 1999 - 2008. Saying "LOL they are lying" when multiple respected people accuse you of something is not going to save your reputation at this point. I hope your savings account is filled to the brim.

Actually it wasn't my apartment, it was the town's apartment which he tried to rent but he had no references that would be taken. So our company stepped up and cosigned for it and were promptly stuck with the bill when he midnight moved out and trashed it. I don't owe Dom a cent, he never delivered on his services. In the real world of business when someone doesn't finish a product or service they don't get paid simple as that. If he had an issue he should have brought it to my attention 3 years ago when the whole thing went down. I chatted with him about the situation and gave him his options if he wished to take it further. He decided to wage a defamation battle with me on gfy... People are so interesting... We always look to others to behave and conduct themselves in ways that make sense to us. For example, we expect others to conduct themselves in their interactions with us, with a sense of morality, of integrity, ethics and honesty, or to simply act in a way that makes sense to us or that is expected.
When we stumble across broken people,... as people, we often just can't accept they are broken. We continue to expect them to exhibit traits of a person that is not broken and to behave in ways that we expect or anticipate. With the confusion they create, we continue to try to reason through things with that person, explain, argue, make points, defend those points etc never understanding or accepting that the other party, has a skewed sense of right or wrong and will never see past "they are attacking me"... because that's is his genuine perception.
No amount of reasonable discussion is going to make a broken person respond or react as a normal person would. You shouldn't expect them feel or exhibit emotions you would expect them too such as remorse or guilt, when its clear that person has either a diminished capacity or no capacity for those emotions and no ability to understand why others are genuinely angry or upset or feel wronged by their actions. Broken people are broken.
The appropriate thing to do is to simply acknowledge who and what they are, make a note and move on.
The best thing about crazy people, is that they often outwardly appear to be the least crazy... but they always leave clues, we just tend to willfully ignore them.
