You are comparing lions to housecats. Your statement is akin to blaming your border collie because coyotes are killing your sheep.

A Jack Russell (I have one - a puddin' pup. AND a fox terrier / chihuahua mix. AND a hound of indeterminate breed. AND a border collie/sheppard mix. AND two cats.) will rip the crap out of tiny prey with lightning speed. If a mouse gets in the house, Bailey and Sparky will get to it faster than the cats could ever hope. Jack Russells can't (and won't even try to) take down a goat - or a person.

A pit, though, can.

Yea, mine is biased, but you are a well studied animal doctor. Glad you have all the facts. People can carry guns in more places then pitbulls are aloud in this country. You are a true numbskull.

i had never seen her chase down a deer...however that is what the game warden told us she was doing.
i have seen her chase a full sized moose though, and it took off running and ran by me at full speed...with her at its heels

i have a mutt with a small percentage of greyhound in him that has ran down a baby deer and killed it. few of the neighbor's cats too. its tough out there for a pimp.

I've never seen it, but I broke my Blueticks off of running deer as young as possible because they're much more likely to wind up getting hit by a car or lost 3 counties over before they catch a deer. Not to mention driving deer with hounds is illegal where I hunt.
