What if the custom script is coded by some noob? is it still best option? what if the coder vanished, why spend HUGE amounts of cash having your own engine coded while there are numerous great tube scripts out there which offer great free support until products lifespan... Mech is one of such and not forgetting STP either ;-)
Custom is cool if you need certain features but STP supports plugins so everybody can write their own if they need it or if it's a really cool feature we just add it to our product if client allows it.
