PR aside, if other sites in the niche are crap you can go a long way by just doing a standard setup and still beat the shit out of them.

I'm working on a mainstream project. Site has been down for 3 months and not listed, put it up yesterday with a basic wordpress install with a tweak here and there. Today... 1st page for the keywords I wanted. No backlinks, no work done in half a year.

Google is very funny.

Its crazy Iv had other mainstream sites which I have constantly updated paid for Seo and they have stayed at PR2 for a couple of years. I blame it all on Google lol

I have not been building back links apart from twitter and Facebook the users do it lol. They get points in exchange for refering people which they then use on their own urls

And for a 1 month old site to jump to PR3 is not right

Just a comment since I checked out the site. For such a simple site with one clear mission, you should really have the registration fields front and center on the main page rather than that huge login area.

Dont even know if its worth spending money on lol. It has made me some money and if it continues and grows then i will have it redisigned and have comet chat put on it along with a newsbox and some other features like a weekly lottery for the users to earn points

BTW check out the logo it reminds me of Pedo Bear with that guy hahaha
