Yeah I think it's up more than 15%. Sorta sad in a way, in 5 years from now people will have no reason to leave their homes anymore.

hmm..moms doing their "earlier" shoppin (saying this since i've only picked up a few things for kids here and there)... checking deals online for savings ? yea lookin at comments, will overall shopping be up?
...when i get gifts, I dont do a ton of shopping online...gives me a chance to get out of the house and away from everything i think lol

Same here but we are the minority. Most people work outside the home and when they get home they would rather shop at home. I go out shopping MAINLY to get off my ass and get out of the house. But yeah picking up toys for my grandaughters HAS to be in a store, it's more personal or something. Hell my 19 year old daughters FINAALY figured out that half their favorite toys from their childhood came with a happy meal. I get so much shit for that now. LOL. Not gonna do the same to my grandaughters. hahaha

I've spent a ton of money on Amazon, Frys and other online sites in the past few months alone. Barely anything from actual brick and mortar retail stores besides clothing.

Online retail is booming, which makes a joke of the "recession" excuse for the decline of online porn.

Personally, I don't think the economy is as bad as many say it is. I think a lot of it has moved to online which of course means sales in stores are down. People are simply shopping smarter with the new tools the internet has brought with it.

Yeah the black friday thing well, I went out onetime and never again. You can get jsut as good deals other times and the crowds are just insane.
