CCBill does poor job when screening paysites they process for

I use ccbill and am very happy with their service, but am disappointed at how lax they are these days when approving sites, meaning mostly those with obvious stolen content, many with obvious minors.

I feel like they are sometimes working against the industry and not with us, hurting the legit site owners and rewarding the dishonest ones.

In general, Umm, yeah sites should probably be vetted more by billers, but I can't see it happening any time soon.

It can be much harder than you think to keep merchants in line. Having been in the billing side of this business for as many years as I have, I have to say frankly that merchants often lie to their billers. In fact they will present one set of URLs for approval with compliance, and then 3 months down the road will start replacing content without telling the biller. It's a constant battle to monitor thousands and thousands of pages of content from hundreds of merchants that are often constantly changing that content, often without notice to the biller at all. It's all very well to say "look at this, these guys are billing for bad content", but when you are faced with as many merchants, putting up as many pages of changing content, as the average large biller has to deal with every month, sometimes things happen, in spite of the best of intentions.
