***Week Fourteen RESULTS in the PussyCash Football Pool...

Firstly, the question was can Tim Tebow and the Broncos keep up their string of near misses and last-second wins? The answer this week is YES. Unbelievable finish to that game against the Bears. Now the question is how will he/they do against NE next week?
I was surprised to see so many in the pool going with the Giants over Dallas, but win they did, a win which puts both teams even at 7-6.
Another win for 13-0 Green Bay, are we seeing a perfect season unfolding before our very eyes?
Another loss for the 0-13 Colts, are we seeing a perfect season unfolding before our very eyes? :D

The winner of week 14 in the PUSSYCA$H NFL Pickem Pool is Gandie ,
with 12 out of 16 games picked correctly for a total of 220 points.

Congrats to Gandie.

Another question is whether the 49ers can beat The Steelers...

If the 49ers fall, then the Saints are primed to move into 2nd seed position in the NFC.

Whatever the case this is another great one where a many things are hanging in suspense until the end of regular season.

I don't think the niners have enough offensive firepower to beat the Steelers, but they did surprise me passing the ball to beat the Giants.

I think it's gonna be the Packers vs Saints in the NFC championship game. AFC is much more uncertain.

The niners-Steelers game should be the game of the week next week, but I'm sure the Tebow vs the Patriots will completely overshadow everything.

Lately in the media it's all about the Tebow.

Go Niners!

Actually they have an incredible array of weapons, as witnessed in their win over the Giants. Plus a super strong running game and a solid D that at one time this year led the league in takeaways. No reason on Earth why SF can't beat Pittsburgh. Both teams are strong, it will come down simply to who wants it more.

Either way the Niners have their division title sewn up and will be in the playoffs. I'd like to see them achieve more than that though.

The Steelers have an equally impressive D, an array of wide receivers and Rashard Mendenhall.

However, Ben Roethlisberger is questionable. Without him the niners have the best shot at beating them.

I never mentioned any of that in my post because it is obvious and thus goes without saying. Of course the Steelers can win. The comment I was addressing was whether or not the Niners can win, which as I said they can.

One interesting point is that the oddsmakers are indicating that SF are the favorites, spread being Niners -3.

GO NINERS!

It's always best to record your picks registration # that is displayed once you submit your picks. That way if something goes wrong you (or I) can contact poolhost.com, provide them that #, and let them fix the problem. Without that # there's nothing anyone can do.

Pittsburgh is practicing the back up QBs, so with homefield advantage to the 49ers and probably no Roethlisberger, it's going to be a tighter game.

I know you didn't mention any of that in your post, which is exactly why I'm mentioning it in mine! I personally think the Steelers are the better team in every aspect.

The Niners CAN win with an unhealthy Rapistburger. We will see though, I'm very surprised the Niners are the favorites. Steelers will be in full playoff mode with how tight their division is and we all know what the Steelers do this time of the year, season after season after season.

See when someone says "it goes without saying" it means it isn't necessary, probably because it's stating the obvious. Truthfully anyone who doesn't know the power of the Steelers by now really shouldn't even be in a football thread.

Highly debateable but one more day and I suppose we'll know how correct you are.

I'm not. See Caligari's post above for reasons why.

Yes unfortunately the 49ers could win this one. I say unfortunately of course because I want the Saints to take 2nd seed because they really could use that bye week and homefield freaking advantage for the first game!

Meanwhile Chiefs are beating the Packers. Was Rogers injured, is he not playing?

Alright, just checked its 12-7 Chiefs, so of course the final score will be the Packers by two points;)

Is it possible for a team to beat the Packers with field goals?? Man that is weird.
