Another one bites the dust. MovieRoom Shut down it's program

    http://webmasters.movieroom.com/

No email from them.. just noticed they shut down last month.. didn't see any messages on gfy, so I figured I point it out..

You can't get to the stats area from the main page due to the message about them closing, but here is the link to check stats for referring urls to assist you in pulling your shit:
    http://webmasters.movieroom.com/webm...=login_default

I swear I am spending more time the past 6 months removing links and content from programs that either closed up or that turned to scams than I am doing anything else...

I'm surprised he would have approached the shutdown like that.

The funny thing is I swear I went to the affiliate admin area using the url that has that message around April 21st+/- or so, and that message was not there..

And apparently that was supposedly posted April 1st: (Based on the comment "Payments for the previous 8 weeks went out yesterday (April 2, 2012)")

      lol

They used to be awesome, I loved their niche flash banners which would change based on the keywords used on your page (For instance if the word "mom" appeared on the page the ad would be MILF related, etc). Any other sites with ad tools like that?

However they have converted like shit for the last few years and I removed all of their ads. The advertisement tools were awesome, I assume the content was terrible which is why they didn't convert and are closing.

I am still owed money by them from rebills or whatever and haven't been paid in ages.

A lot of the program owners will come in here and disagree, for one reason or another, but this is why I prefer using ccbill programs and will always look for sponsors in a niche with ccbill before looking at others.

I had removed a ton of those banners that detected keywords back in November, because they mostly stopped working, they would just hang and then display nothing.. so at least half the work of removing their stuff was already done lol

They were my main sponsor ~ 3 years ago.
              Their video banners were awesome.

Any other programs out there with similar niche flash banners like what movieroom had?

I used to vastly prefer NATS but now I agree with you.

but their banners did not "detect" the niche of the website. movieroom's banners were great for multi-niche blogs, tubes, search engines, forums, etc... because all you had to do was place one ad in the header or footer and it would display the proper ad for the niche being viewed..

It would appear to be little more than a whitelabel of www.dvdbox.com main site.

                          From their listed T.O.S..
