Question about blog traffic

So one of my blogs that usually only gets around 50 uniques a day is now suddenly getting over 1,500 uniques in the past 2 hours...as far as I can tell it looks to be coming from a bunch of tube sites...like not just one tube but over 20 different tubes, random adult sites, etc. What the hell causes this? And how can I stop it? Looks like it's almost all coming from Italy. I highly doubt its good traffic.

if u embed some vids from some tube sites, they might 'return' the traffic to sites they see as referrers for those vids.

check your blog for malware. I had a similar thing happen and it turned out a hacker had infected my site with malware and was spamming massive amounts of cheap traffic to it to try to infect as many people as possible for some kind of evil malware affiliate program.

Check your blog for virus and malware. Usually that triggers false traffic readings. A lot of duche heads on the internet try and steal from other people..

Is their a good way to check this? I ran a couple several wordpress exploit/antivirus/malware plugins and stuff and it doesn't find anything...
