CRAPPY SALES TODAY! (scream inside)

After reading this thread, I checked one of my join forms. The FIRST ONE would NOT accept any usernames I tried and said it had to be 8-10 characters long. However, even when I made it that long, it still would not allow it.
Contacting ccbill now, I've had horrible sales the past couple of days, this would probably explain it.
I'd check your forms too. Just in case.Comment

Today is again a crappy day. Very poor sales. This hurts again! First 7 days of November make 95% of my sales so far. Last 4 days only 5%. How is that possible?$$$ Buying PR adult sites / domains - patavax[at]yahoo[dot]com $$$

Hey Patavax try this....pull your form hits reports from nov 6th 2011 thru nov 11 2011
Lets compare submission percentages and see if you see something strange with yours like I see with mine...
Sunday nov 6th 2011 form submissions 16% 50% approved
Monday nov 7th 2011 form submissions 50% 30% approved
Tuesday nov 8th 2011 form submissions 7% 100% approved
Wed nov 9th 2011 form submissions 33% 40% approved
Thurs nov 10th 2011 form submissions 8% 100% approved
Friday nov 11th 2011 form submissions 15% 100% approved
Okay now here is the rub for the above dates...
same exact consistent number of uniques to tour
consistent double digit form hit numbers for each day (maybe a 1 or 2 click deviation but steady and consistent)
Now anyone with reason should conclude that stats are stats and should be consistent across the board
We even had a rep agree to this fact that when viewing stats numbers should be consistent
Its only when we get to theform submission percentages and approval percentaged do we see pandemonium
It certainly appears that to increase sales you need to increase form submits, however when I double or even triple form submissions, my sales approval percentages go down
Now if my form submission percentages are 15% or below then my approval % goes to 100%
So why can't I have 100% approval on 50% form submissions anymore, I can only have 100% approval on very low form submission percentage
So the argument to increase sales you must increase form submissions is flawed because I have certainly demonstrated that even when increasing form submissions we get very low approval %
Also found out today that form declines are different than submit declines, and that form declines data is non existent for clients...how about them apples...wouldn't you like to know if someone is submitting your form incorrectly and why??
I think that data would prove most illuminating and maybe take some of the paranoia out of the form hits reports not seeming accurateLast edited by SwirlsGirl; 11-11-2011, 12:47 PM.Comment

Thanks for checking that out, I am very curious of your findings.
The reason I dwell ad infinitem on the form submission percentages is because it only started for us within the past 18-24 months with the form submissions jumping all over and not showing consistency
Many others have indicated that is the exact time frame where something seems to have changed for the worse with regard to form submission consistency at least for some of us.
Now I get highly curious and concerned when I see other clients come in here and post 5 days in a row of form submission percentages and they look like this.....
mon 10%
tue 11%
wed 9%
thurs 10%
fri 8%
sat 12%
or
mon 5%
tues 6%
wed 7%
thur 6%
fri 8%
sat 7%
see to me these numbers are what I would call consistent, even though there is a small 2-4 point fluctuation in form submission percentages there is still relative consistency
My form submissions fluctuate almost 50-75 percentage points some times and it does not square or make any sense
these fluctuations cannot be blamed on spring break, winter slow down, holidays, tube sites, file sharing, pass word trading, or any of those issues we face.
If that were the case we would see massive fluctuations or drops stats all across the board meaning submission percentages, approval percentages, sales, and even form hits
Form hits are mad steady and the form submissions no longer follow any consistency for us... even with greatly reduced price points...still getting the roller coaster with form submitsComment

I don't feel as if that rule should apply to me, so please email the info to jimmycooper /@/ starletsheet /./ com

had a few slow days but overall Nov. has been a really good month!Comment

Yep beginning of month was pretty good and slow last couple days.
I see this pattern tho quite often. (not nec with ccbill) Beginning of month good and slows around the 10-12th or so.
Maybe due to the time of the pay period and folks are more tapped. I would say on ave the 10th-12th is the slowest time of the month. For whatever reason.Comment

We had a fuck ugly day on thursday, was completely out of the blue and was like something was wrong, our join forms seem ok, anybody else test this out? After reading this thread, I checked one of my join forms. Thankyou very much for sharing the Data Patavax!!
I see you also have the "obligatory standard" 3 days of double digit form submisison percentages from sunday thru tuesday then after the 3rd day you drop to nothing or almost nothing on the 4th day, then on 5th day percentgaes shoot back up to normal
That is a disturbing pattern that I rave about in almost all threads because it defies reason.
3 days double digit form submission followed by a sharp drop off the cliff....now what I used to notice when I had a backup processor...was after that 3rd day when form submits drop to zero the back up processor would have a flurry of sales.
Then on day 5 the form submissions return to consistent level
It is clear to me that your surfers get treated with a higher approval percentage,as you were rocking a nice 100% approval percentage for each day accept for wednesday.
Now if I could have that many 100% days, especially days when I have high double digit form submissions.....we would see the prosperity we are capable of and should be enititled to.
No matter how many times an account rep tells you that settings are fine, your account looks good, I see nothing wrong, clearly the form reports data tell a different story.
I wish more would check their form hits and post so we can compare and see if they have wild submission percentage swings and approval percentage swings...
All in all I would say for that week your submits, and approvals were far more consistent than ours....we certainly would love to see more reports from that period if you have them to share!
Thanks again!Comment
