Why not use a UK model to sell porn?

I refer not to a model (female) but a model as in a system.

In the UK the law says now harcore porn on tv. It does not matter if it a pay porn channel or the bbc. Odly the bbc probably produces rather hot porn (not sure if you have seen the recent tv show 'the tuders' which is full of sexy acresses getting nude and having rumpy pumpy).

Anyway one TV station - telivision x, for years put out cut versions or second versions of porn films on its pay to see service. this would be films but the hardstuff cut out, or some film firms would shoot with a second camera but never films the in-and-out bits.

the result was that people wanted the hardcorew version, so would buy the dvd.

i say this as many firms upload fuill vids onto tube sites, then wonder why no sales. well why would you join if you have seen it?

but if they uploaded a cut version then this could get sales as people want the hard core version.

indeed if this is what porn firms had done at the start (of porn tubes) then today rather than not making money, sales would be better than ever.

porn tube sites should have been tasters, not the full product.

after all when have you been in a supermarket and rather than being offerd a taste of a product, the assistant gives you a life time supply of that product free.

your probably right, it could be too late.

however it may still be worth firms tring this to see if they get better results on sales.

Do you not understand yet how capitalism works? They destroy themselves in order to get short term profits... Businesses barely look more than a couple years out let alone several decades.

You have no idea what you're talking about. the softcore cable version was worth more than the hardcore version to many companies.

            Altered to make it correct.

The cable version was worth a lot of money. A softcore version of the film would sell to cable companies all around the world, often for big money. The softcore version cold be sold out of any shop in lots of places. Therefore production budgets were huge for these movies. Does anyone think Max's recent film is a unique thing? It's not, it's a recent product in a long line of similar products. Because the rewards were there.

Most of online porn didn't understand the benefits of producing real quality porn. A few did and now everyone can remind us of the few.

                  You asked for it.

It shows how the offline sectors of porn have been maximising their ROI on their product for years.

So much of online porn is only sold online. Few ventured to any other avenues for sales.

With all respect and it's not meant badly. you're not a "Playboy" level shooter. Yet if you had gone to PRO they would of taken at least one set of every girl you shot for their Readers Wives sections. With a sales to Escort and the same set selling to Club Confidential you would of made $400 from one set. do that every time you shoot a girl and her money is paid, get a pretty one, shoot 120 different poses and the right ones. You could of sold the set to those magazines for the main section. $3,000.

Then there was Galaxy in Whitham, Essex. Same deal, UK only. but a lot of mags.

Then Fantasy Publications, used to be part of Northern & Shell. Had "Amateur" magazines that would of loved your stuff. If you could just of tweaked it a bit.

                  The Goldstar.

                  You get the picture.

All you had to do was get on a train once, then every 6 months and your shoots would of been free and even profitable before they were online. Well after because you had to wait for publication. You get the picture.

I started in a time when there was nothing online, so had to. but every online shooter could of done the same, every sponsor buying content could of done the same.

If they had not got their heads tuck up their Internet asses.

Or the content simply was not good enough.

A real businessman looks around at how to maximise his ROI.
