Inter Next VS Xbiz LA

Hi guys, I need some advice.

Which is a better show,

XBIZ for 100 buck registration and 260 per night

Or

Internext for free registration and 120 per night.

In a quandary but have to make up my mind.

I might have to drive out for the XBiz show, not sure about Vegas, doing a booth at ASW in Vegas

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

Thank you, well written and very informative. Seems as if both concentrate on seminars and that in LA there is more of a sense of business.

I am defiantly going to get to know folks who can help me expand my business and my knowledge.

If partying is not being thrown into the mix, I would say Internext has the numbers, but XBIZ LA probably had the better seminars [that I attended] last year. Of course, at the same time Internext was going on, Affiliate Summit was happening so I was having to divide my time up between the two.

Both shows have value. The XBiz will be a great tie in to ANME's toy show. The AVN is in a new venue and, hopefully, not being overrun by fans. I'm still waiting to see who is going to which shows so I can setup my appointments.

First I'll say that I love Las Vegas. I met my wife there (at Internext). I'll also note that the XBIZ Summer Forum was held at the Hardrock for several years...

I don't care what the event is, you can't beat Vegas for partying.

If, however, you want to connect with decision makers, including those from larger and more mainstream companies, in a professional environment where profiting from porn today and tomorrow is the main draw, then XBIZ LA can't be beat.

I'm also focused on kicking our already top-notch educational seminar series up a few steps, so that attendees will be saying "THAT was worth coming here for..."

Add in the XBIZ Awards (have you been recently?) and our networking events and you'll have a great and profitable experience.

Myself and Tofu will be doing both. Parties are as much a part of the networking as other aspects so I do think they have to taken into consideration. At previous events, the parties at AVN associated things have been more valuable for me than those at Xbiz but Xbiz has done a better job with seminars and setting a day time 'this is where the business is done' atmosphere.

since you're having such a hard time deciding...do it this way:

make a list of the companies/people that you really need to meet with face to face to grow your business. contact them and find out which show they are attending and go the one that the majority of your list is attending. they will not all be going to both.

Both shows offer opportunities to grow your business. If you can only do one show, Try to find out which show more potential business partners will be attending and hit that one.
